Over 26 years of experience, Dr. Kim is nationally recognized as a Board Certified acupuncturist and herbalist of the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She treats a wide range of patients and is dedicated to helping her patients return to a healthier life. Dr. Kim focuses on a comprehensive healing process in which wellness is her ultimate goal for your mind, body, and soul. Her compassionate and caring style complements her extensive knowledge of eastern medicine providing a truly unique healing experience. DR. KIM’S CREDENTIALS
Dr. Kim received her Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College in Los Angeles and later earned her Ph.D. from Yuin University. Dr. Kim earned her License of Acupuncture from the California Acupuncture Board in 1995 and has served as an examiner on the California Acupuncture Committee Board since 1998. Dr. Kim is also a certified Diplomate of the National Board of Acupuncture Orthopedics (DNBAO). She is an active member of many acupuncture organizations in which she has held several leadership roles.
CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Dr. Kim continues to update her training in Acupuncture and Herbology through various classes and traveling to countries such as China to further her knowledge and skills. Her most recent travels have taken her to the China Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center where she spent her time researching acupuncture pain management for pregnant women during delivery. Continuing to further her education and training, Dr. Kim has also completed her studies in Acupuncture Orthopedics at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
